Description:To perform histological preparations that are consistent with the Section‘s Policies and Procedures in order to deliver quality slides to the pathologist in a timely manner. Qualifications:High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance or GED required. Licenses & Certifications: ASCP Certified Histotechnologist. Florida Histology Licensed. Complete knowledge of Histology lab procedures including cryostat, gross room, accessioning, embedding, microtomy and staining. ASCP certification is preferred.
