Responsibilities:Hours of Operation: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and rotating on-call for weekdays and weekendsJOB SUMMARYResponsible for EMR user support of clinical applications.Assists with diversified projects in support of activities and operations of the EMR and Business Applications Departments.
Qualifications:Education/Regulatory Requirements:
Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
Skills:
Requires 1 year of experience in a help desk or patient care environment, preferably with Hospice and Home Health billing.Knowledge of clinical and medical terminology is helpfulProficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPointMastery of essential general office procedures including, but not limited to, Outlook Email and Calendar. Healthcare terminology and systems preferred.Skilled in extracting and compiling data; able to format tables, graphs, slides, and statistical reports
Professional Requirements:
Self-starter and effective problem solver.Excellent verbal, phone, and written communication skills.Displays professional demeanor and maintains confidentiality.
Language Skills:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
