QA Lead

to join us to contribute to practice initiatives and keep current in the latest technology developments in the Cloud and Product Engineering space.What you'll be doing

Align to the overall guidance and direction from the Program Management and Product Development Teams.• Leads the development of Test Strategies, Methodologies and Standard processes for all Work streams by analyzing the business requirements to ensure testability, traceability and end-to-end business process coverage.• Define testing scope and approach by partnering with cross-functional IT and business stakeholders.• Develop Test Plans aligned to project scope, work plans, schedules, milestones and critical paths and identify staffing needs to execute to the test plan.• Manage end-to-end SIT test case creation and execution as part of test management for the entire program.• Lead the QA teams in SIT execution, monitor the testing processes and inspect the outcomes to ensure the quality of applications meet business needs.• Oversees and address critical issues, defects, dependencies, and risks related to testing.• Ensure Quality metrics are tracked across testing phases.• Manages the review and Validation of testable business processes, test data and test environment requirements.• Managing the On-Site and Offshore Team members• Managing the Test Management tools Jira, Zephyr• Create and publish timely reports and documentation to show testing progress to management.• Ability to deliver quality output while operating under tight deadlines.What you bring to the teamMinimum 10+ Years of Test Manager experience in driving End to end Systems Integration Testing including Test Strategy, planning, execution and status reporting• Minimum 6+ Years of experience leading Automation Testing Team developed on open source tools• Should have extensive experience in functional, automation, regression, API testing, Mobile and Backend Testing• Experienced in creating the End-to-End Testing scenarios• Formal QA certification, Such as ISTQB or equivalent experience• Experienced in using Testing Software packages Zephyr, Jira tools• Experienced with automation tools like Selenium using Java• Familiar with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins), Code Coverage ( Sonarqube)• Required Project Management Skills to manage Onshore and Offshore QA Teams• Excellent communication and presentation skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Excel, word & PowerPointLocal to Dallas, TX and no sponsorship requiredAs required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $130k-$150k base+ bonus. The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Digital Services bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.About usWe're a global, team of innovators.
