La Rabida Children’s HospitalIntegrated Assessment Clinician-Child Welfare (LCSW/LCPC)Job Summary:· Complete in-depth highly clinical assessments of parents, children and foster parents involved with the child welfare system· Provide assessment in the areas of parenting, mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, early childhood development and trauma· Formulate a detailed, written assessment, including client interviews as well as historical records, that is provided to the court and serves as the basis of the family’s ongoing service planfor reunification.· Currently hybrid with some virtual work and some in-home, community work.Job Requirements:LCSW or LCPC in IL required - (will consider LCSW within six months of hire or LCPC eligible at hire)
Minimum two years of post-graduate experience with the population of children and families served by the program.
Child welfare experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all personnel involved in the program-children, parents, foster parents, relatives, DCFS staff, community agency staff, peers, government agencies required.
Reliable vehicle with automobile insurance required. Mileage reimbursement provided.
