01034Daily Responsibilities:Creates high-quality learning products to meet the needs of the Foreign Service Institute (FSI)Designs a variety of complex, media-rich, and highly interactive courses and products beyond standard eLearning courses—considered tasks above entry-level for the fieldWorks on priority courses and deals with high-level bureau and school/center clientsDesigns various learning solutions including e-learning, mobile apps, microlearning, blended learning, and instructional gamesCollaborates with stakeholders to clarify performance gaps, write clear objectives, formulate instructional approach, design learning solutions, and produce evaluation instrumentsWorks with development staff to produce solutionsMaintains a thorough knowledge of subjects important to Foreign Service Officers and applies knowledge to produce appropriate, effective, and meaningful learning solutionsOther duties as assignedRequired:Years of Experience (min): 3 years of instructional design experienceDegree: BS/BA in instructional design, educational technology, or related fieldExperience:Minimum 3 years of instructional design experienceDemonstrated experience with at least two types of digital learning solutionsDemonstrated ability to develop training objectives, design learning solutions, and produce evaluationsDemonstrated ability to effectively write, review, and edit contentDemonstrated ability to apply learning theories and models to different learning contextsDemonstrated experience working with project teams to produce professional e-learningDemonstrated knowledge of responsive web design, interface usability guidelines, Section 508 accessibility, SCORM, learning management systems, and integration of media into web-based training applicationsPositive and proactive customer service skillsFamiliarity with US government web/mobile development policies and standardsKnowledge of language learning principlesExperience with video/animationClearance: Low risk public trust with ability to obtain secretAbout Systems PlusSystems Plus is headquartered in Rockville, MD with over 2 decades of experience providing Global Enterprise Management, Technology, Engineering and Professional services and solutions across Defense and Federal Civilian government sectorsFrom Discovery to Delivery, Systems Plus brings a greater measure of confidence, commitment and value to our clients.
