Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a detail-oriented and technically minded Documentation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and improve a variety of technical documentation related to business processes, systems operation, product development, and other technical areas. You will research, analyze, and synthesize technical information to create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for both internal and external audiences.Responsibilities:Develop new technical documentation or update existing documentation to reflect changes in products, processes, or systems.Research, review, and collect available technical information to serve as a basis for documentation creation.Write and maintain user guides, manuals, online help content, and other technical documents for various audiences (e.g., engineers, end-users).Ensure documentation is clear, concise, accurate, and easy to understand.Develop and maintain a consistent style and format for all technical documentation.Apply fundamental concepts, processes, and procedures related to the technical areas being documented.Gain a strong understanding of the technical details of the products and processes documented.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation.Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather accurate and up-to-date technical information.Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.Qualifications:Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.Minimum 4-7 years of experience in technical documentation or a related field.Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/TSCI) security clearance.Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and accurate technical documents.Experience with technical writing tools (e.g., DITA, MadCap Flare).Excellent research and analytical skills.Ability to learn and understand new technical concepts quickly.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.About Us:
