Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Software Engineer that will be responsible for software development support for their assigned software development products.Responsibilities:
Operate as a developer on an associated software product scrum team.Support resolution of assigned program problem reports (PPRs).Develop unit tests for development assignments and support integration testing efforts.Execute the software engineering tasks necessary to maintain and make changes to program baseline architectures.Support cyber range capability assessments, evaluations, and technology prototypes.Provide remote site support for setup, configuration, and delivery activities.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant topics.Five (5) years of related, proven experience performing similar duties.Good knowledge of software development, including agile software development practices; programming languages; operating systems; networks; enterprise and consumer IT concepts, architectures, and systems (compute, network, storage).Proficiency in PowerShell, bash scripting, Python scripting, Java, and C/C++ development.Experience with Linux-based operating systems.Knowledge of one or more continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.Knowledge of one or more of the following: MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL.Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and Git.Demonstrated ability to work within teams.U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance eligibility.Desired Qualifications:
7+ years of related, proven experience performing similar duties.Experience working with platform development, end-users (operators), and system developers.Knowledge of enterprise infrastructures including various operating systems and services such as AD, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, VPN, email, databases, IIS, Apache, etc.Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, TFTP, DNS, FTP, etc.Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies such as VMWare, Docker, HyperV, Xen, Kubernetes, etc.Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and tools.About Us:We are Command Post Technologies, Inc.
