We will do this together as a team with integrity and respect for our patients and each other.Your Day.As a MA/LPN/RN UC Flex Float you need to know how to:Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider and/or physician, which could include casting, bracing and injections.Provide clinical triage/communication as defined by protocol or per provider instructionsPrepare treatment rooms for examination of patients including sterilization, cleaning, and checks on medical equipmentPrepare basic laboratory tests on premises and prepare laboratory specimensPerform Phlebotomy involved with proper collection, labeling, processing, and distribution of specimens for laboratory testing from patients of all agesAssist back office in managing patient flow, paperwork, and customer serviceProvide quality customer service and patient education based on assessment of needsPerform tests and procedures as orderedAccurately document patient encounters and interventions performedRelay provider instruction to patientsAssist with all non-direct patient care tasks (autoclaving, stocking room, scanning records, mailing, etc.)Aid in identifying methods of improving patient careAssist Front Office Staff in managing details of patients, schedule and referralsAssist or lead in emergency situationsMaintain confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the organization, i.e. HIPAAPerform other duties as assignedYour experience.We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:Completion of a nationally accredited MA program (EMT certification and experience will be considered)LPN’s and RN’s must have a current license from the Idaho Board of NursingVenipuncture skillsPrevious clinical experience preferredCustomer service oriented attitude/behaviorComputer proficiency.
