We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will receive and unload incoming shipments, pick hardware and components, pack or palletize finished goods, and load outbound shipments. Job Duties:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments of materials and verify quantities against purchase orders
Pick and prepare hardware and components for production orders
Pack or palletize finished goods for shipment to customers
Load and unload shipments using a forklift
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials
Prepare shipping documents and labels
Communicate with carriers and schedule pickups
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
Requirements:
Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical and Work Environment Demands:
Must be able to stand/walk/work for 8-10 hours per day.
Must be able to lift and/or move 25lbs., occasionally lift and/or move 40lbs.
Experience:
Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred
Experience operating a forklift required
Education:
High School Diploma/GED preferred, not required.
