DescriptionAMHC is actively looking to fill Full Time positions for
Adult Crisis Counselors
at the 24-hour Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit in Calais. We are a fast-paced, cutting-edge program employing short-term intervention toward stabilization in a recovery-oriented manner. This candidate will be expected to demonstrate the

of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members.Qualifications:High School Diploma.Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and work evenings and weekends as needed.MHRT-CSP certification is required to carry out the assigned responsibilities of the position.The MHRT-CSP training will be provided by the agency upon hire.Responsibilities & Expectations:Offer
Compassionate
support during referrals, admissions, continuing care, and discharge of adults at the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit.Provide
Respectful , rapid, and effective assessment, support, and hospitalization when necessary.Provide
Service
focused connection to community resources, crisis prevention planning, and case coordination of services
Collaboratively
with Clients.Complete progress notes, treatment plans, and required documentation with
Excellence
for each individual served.Maintain the
Integrity
