Outpatient Therapist

to provide counseling for adults, adolescents, children, and families out of our

Caribou location . As an

Outpatient Therapist

with AMHC, you are responsible for providing Behavioral Health assessment, treatment, consultation, and educational services as a multidisciplinary professional outpatient team member. The

Outpatient Therapist

is responsible to ensure that the services provided meet the clinical standards of the organization. These standards are inclusive of both direct clinical service and required documentation of those services and the candidate will be expected to demonstrate the

of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and the community members.Qualifications:Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling or a PH.D. or Psy.D.An active license in the State of Maine as an LCSW, LMSW-CC, LCPC, LCPC-C.Responsibilities & Expectations:Collaborating

in the assessment of area service needs related to AMHC’s provision and continuing development of mental health, substance abuse, and other related services.Developing individualized treatment plans that define services and interventions with

Compassion .Keeping up-to-date documentation to ensure the continuation of services with

Excellence.Participating in AMHC’s 24-hour Emergency Service system providing consultation and direct emergency assessment services as determined necessary in consultation with the responding Emergency Services provider or team.Maintaining the expected caseload in order to promote a

focus program that meets the needs of our community.Opening and maintaining case records by AMHC policies and procedures and state-authorized bodies and third-party payers' prevailing licensing and regulatory requirements.Providing a welcoming and

environment for individuals seeking mental health, substance abuse, co-occurring, and community support.Providing integrated services in a manner that supports a client’s overall health and well-being and shows the
