The Normandy Park Police Department is a police agency comprised of dedicated law enforcement professionals who strive for community service through innovative and pro-active approaches to crime prevention. NPPD provides all police services for the City, which include a uniformed patrol division, motorcycle and bicycle patrol, as well as investigations and animal control. The department also has a Vacation House Watch Program, Paws on Patrol Program, and Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Training for women. The department structure includes a Chief, Administrative Sergeant, Patrol Sergeant, eight patrol officers, Records Manager, Evidence Technician, and Reserve Police Officers. NPPD also participates in the Coalition of Small Police Agencies (CSPA) in King County, which consists of 12 police agencies through an inter-local agreement.
