In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting strategic decision-making by analyzing financial and industry data, conducting research, and assisting in the development of financial models and forecasts. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of our corporate growth strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for a financial analyst with strong analytical skills to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.What You’ll Do:Conduct financial analyses using various methods, such as trend analysis, ratio analysis, and variance analysis, to assess the company's financial performance and identify key trendsDevelop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance, evaluate potential investments, and support strategic planning initiativesConduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and strategic partnersGather and analyze financial and market data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completenessPrepare financial reports and presentations, clearly communicating financial information to both technical and non-technical audiencesConduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to support strategic decision makingResearch various aspects of the satellite communications market as well as the broader space economy and provide recommendations based on the dataPerform other ad-hoc financial and market analysis tasks as assignedExperience & Education Requirements / EEOWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred)2+ years of relevant experience in financial analysisStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent financial modeling and valuation skills (proficiency in Excel a must)Strong research and data analysis skillsAttention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information and ideas to othersHave confidence and be able to easily build meaningful relationships with your manager and members of your teamMust be able to prioritize your tasks, be self-aware enough to identify and correct mistakes, and not be afraid to ask for help when neededBe active in seeking out ways to improve yourself and gain new knowledge, and be enthusiastic in sharing knowledge with othersWork Environment:This position primarily works in the company office or in a home office. The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer.
