Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities:What We're Looking For:We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst II to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting strategic decision-making by analyzing financial and industry data, conducting research, and assisting in the development of financial models and forecasts.What You'll Do:Conduct financial analyses using various methods, such as trend analysis, ratio analysis, and variance analysis, to assess the company's financial performance and identify key trends.Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance, evaluate potential investments, and support strategic planning initiatives.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and strategic partners.Gather and analyze financial and market data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Prepare financial reports and presentations, clearly communicating financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to support strategic decision making.Research various aspects of the satellite communications market as well as the broader space economy and provide recommendations based on the data.Perform other ad-hoc financial and market analysis tasks as assigned.

What You'll Need to Succeed:Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).2+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent financial modeling and valuation skills (proficiency in Excel a must).Strong research and data analysis skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information and ideas to others.Ability to build meaningful relationships with your manager and team members.Must be able to prioritize tasks, identify and correct mistakes, and ask for help when needed.Active in seeking out ways to improve and gain new knowledge, enthusiastic in sharing knowledge with others.Work Environment:This position primarily works in the company office or in a home office.
