This is a crucial role that will assist in overseeing financial reporting in a fast-paced, public company environment. This role will support the Director, SEC Reporting, and work cross-functionally with accounting, legal, FP&A, and other stakeholders across the organization to deliver timely internal and external reporting in accordance with GAAP.Responsibilities

Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and other required reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP, including tie-outsPrepare and review the statement of cash flows and various supporting schedulesPrepare and review various internal financial reporting schedules and reports, including Non-GAAP reconciliations and bridges from GAAP to Non-GAAPCollaborate with various departments, including Legal, FP&A, Investor Relations, and Corporate Communications, to gather necessary information for SEC filingsComplete disclosure checklists to ensure all disclosure requirements are met; research disclosure requirements and keep abreast of new pronouncements impacting disclosures; establish a repository of internal practices and peer company disclosuresCoordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits and reviewsAssist in the preparation of quarterly earnings releases and other financial communicationsEnsure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls as it pertains to financial reporting and equityAssist in various ongoing and ad-hoc projects or initiatives as neededExperience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and CPA preferred6+ years of experience in accounting, including Big 4 public accounting experience and experience with financial reporting in a public companyWell-versed in the statement of cash flow preparation and requirementsStrong knowledge of SEC regulations, GAAP, and financial reporting standardsStrong organizational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environmentWorkiva and XBRL experience preferredExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detailStrong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are a mustAccounting research and problem-solving skills requiredAbility to build strong relationships with internal and external business partnersAbility to operate independently and as part of a larger functional teamBenefits

Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #HybridThe expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $128,000-$160,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus, or benefits.
