A leading provider of backup power solutions is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Rep to join their team in Northern California! This exciting role combines the best of both worlds: remote work flexibility with hands-on fieldwork. You'll be calling prospects, setting up appointments, and visiting companies for meetings and product demonstrations. The types of clients you will be working with are Data Centers, Tech Companies, Hospitals, Government buildings, and other critical facilities. The company sells, installs, and services backup power systems and generators to ensure these facilities continue to operate even during power outages. $60,000 - $100,000 / year DOEOutside Sales Rep Requirements

2+ years of outside sales and business development experienceExperience in a similar industry (backup power, UPS, generator industry preferred)Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsStrategic and tactical thinking with strong problem-solving skillsStrong customer orientationProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with CRM systems (Netsuite preferred)Self-motivated and able to work well with othersMust be located in Northern CaliforniaInside Sales Rep Responsibilities

Lead generation through cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking eventsQualify leads using criteria such as budget, needs, decision-making authority, and timeline (BANT)Reach out to leads with tailored emails, cold calls, and social media interactionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with prospects, understanding their needs and guiding them through the sales processSchedule meetings and product demonstrations with qualified leadsUse CRM software (Netsuite) to track and manage leads, ensuring all interactions are accurately recordedCollaborate closely with sales team to align strategies, share insights, and provide feedback on lead quality and market trendsWork closely with other departments to refine the sales process and get necessary supportBenefits
