Outside Sales Representative
to join our team. Responsible for generating leads, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and closing sales deals.
Performs as a direct sales agent for the company in the state of Oklahoma plus Dallas, Austin and the Northwest Texas territory . The ideal candidate will have a ‘hunter’ mentality and be eager to meet new customers, have a drive to succeed and growth their business.Primary ResponsibilitiesActively meet with and call upon existing and new potential customers to give sales presentations, product demonstrations, and training on a regular basisClose new product salesDevelop and deliver customer trainingMaintain and strengthen customer relationshipsUse Sales Force.com to track contacts, and opportunities and generate quotationsPrepare monthly sales forecastMaintain a weekly calendar of activitiesAttend industry-related trade shows, symposiums, and professional association meetingsDevelop short and long-term goals and strategies for the territoryCreate and develop new customer prospect accounts while leveraging existing relationshipsQualifications And RequirementsSuperior time management and project prioritization abilities are essential. Must be able to make practical decisions with minimal direction to achieve budget goalsMust be proficient with customer communication, reporting, time management and correspondence.Strong interpersonal skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both a diverse customer base and coworkers is critical to successExperience with CRM-(Salesforce.com) or similar1-3 years of experience selling to the scientific communityExisting relationships within the life science and academic laboratory research field in the regionUnderstanding of laboratory processes objectives and challengesExperience in the life science and basic research fields or liquid handling is a plusBA in a scientific discipline is a plusTravel:
