Job SummaryMaintains record drawings and exhibits to reflect new construction/alterations using project drawings, engineering sketches, verbal instructions, specifications and supporting documentation according to latest industry and client standards. Collects and analyzes field data and applies it to design drawings and exhibits. Ensures accuracy of drawings and maintains production schedules. Performs calculations and applies to detailed drawings and exhibits. Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to communicate with team members.Major Job ResponsibilitiesApplies comprehensive knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD)Utilizes applications such as AutoCAD to complete drawings to meet project deadlinesEdits/updates a variety of Getty record drawings to reflect modifications to Getty properties resulting from new construction, alterations, and/or maintenance related projects to ensure the accuracy of recordsMay be asked to create floor plans from scratchUpdates as-built conditions, archives new construction documents, and retrieves information to provide to others upon requestQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent2-3 years previous experience working with AutoCAD in an architectural firm and/or CAD services providerKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExcellent written and oral communications skillsDemonstrated ability to read, interpret, and work from plans, drawings, and specificationsComprehensive knowledge of drafting methods, materials, techniques, instruments, and symbols used in architectural, mechanical, civil, and electrical drawingsAbility to read and prepare maps, charts, and tracings for various purposesGeneral knowledge of engineering mathematics and ability to make engineering calculationsAbility to organize, use, and maintain original, archived documentsWorking knowledge of computer-aided design [CAD] software and its extensive application for purposes of the graphical development of information as well as design development and documentationExtensive knowledge of printing equipment and its application in the production of documents and large format graphicsProficient computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applicationsAbility learn new office support technology systems and software packagesAbility to use various types of technical and multimedia equipment including Smart Room Panel, projectors, and similar technology preferredPeopleSoft experience preferred
