Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.ResponsibilitiesDrive cross-functional efforts on performance optimization and analysis for key database applications on current and future hardware and software systems infrastructure.Develop engineering driven methodology to analyze the current state, and inform the system architecture and design of future data processing hardware/software systems deployed in Google data-centers.Drive influence of hardware/software roadmaps, internally and externally to meet requirements and improve performance by defining the custom compute platforms for data-centric applications.Identify RAM/GCU efficiency opportunities, and design innovation solutions to improve efficiency while maintaining reliability and latency requirements.Develop and execute a roadmap and execute implementation in concert with product areas to deliver value.
