Our client, a prominent firm specializing in property damage insurance claims, business litigation disputes, and personal injury matters, is seeking a talented and motivated First Party Property Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our team.As an integral part of our legal team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside lead attorneys, gaining valuable experience in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Your role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including gathering, analyzing, and organizing information; drafting legal pleadings, discovery, deposition attendance and summaries, as well as trial preparations and other legal documents.Responsibilities:
Collaborate effectively with lead attorneys and support staffConduct client interviews and locate/interview expert witnessesDraft a wide range of legal documents, including discovery, motions, appellate briefs, affidavits, memoranda, and lettersInvestigate factual information to respond to litigation discovery requestsAssist in all phases of case preparation, from discovery to trialProvide trial support and attendance as requiredDemonstrate professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues, such as attorney-client privileged materialsTravel throughout the state as needed to meet business requirementsSkills & Competencies:
Exceptional legal research and writing skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAbility to manage priorities and workflow effectivelyStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a team environmentEffective communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills to represent clients in litigation situationsExperience & Qualifications:
Current Texas Bar License in Good StandingJ.D. degree from an accredited law school1-2 years of experience in First Party Property damage insurance claims, business litigation disputes, and personal injury matters (Plaintiff side)Benefits:
