This role will be developing solutions and extending COTS products for the Finance Treasury Department in American Express. The right candidate will be comfortable with developing, testing, deploying, and supporting secure software products, as well as extending or migrating existent software products. A growth mind-set, ability to learn fast, prioritize, and make decisions within the scope of responsibilities are key to this role.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, management of information systems, or equivalent experience and certifications.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and CSSProficiency in JavaScript Frameworks such as reactjs and nodejsProficiency in Querying languages such as T-SQL or PL/SQLProficiency in data structures and algorithmsProficiency in data modeling and data engineeringProficiency in GitHub, Jenkins (or equivalent), CI/CD.Experience with one or more Cloud technologies including IaaS, PaaS, DaaS, and XaaSExperience with the Testing Lifecycle, Unit Testing, SIT, Regression Testing, UAT.Experience with SSDLCFamiliarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or ScrumStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with Generative AI applied to coding and testing.Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
