http://www.edd.ca.govJob Description And DutiesTELEWORK IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE, HOWEVER, STAFF MAY BE REQUIRED TO REPORT TO THEIR ASSIGNED HEADQUARTERS AS BUSINESS NEEDS ARISE.The Employment Development Department (EDD), Document Management Division is searching for a motivated, skilled, and challenge-seeking individual who enjoys innovation, problem solving, and is interested in working with an exciting team of professionals in a fast-paced environment.Under the direction of the Publication Center Document Design (PCDD), Associate Printing Plant Superintendent (APPS), the Graphic Designer II/III (GD II/III), performs the more complex projects, is knowledgeable of the principles of design, page layout, graphic art techniques, print production processes and related industry terms. The incumbent provides graphic design services using desktop publishing software applications, desktop scanners and digital devices to develop various marketing collateral materials and publications for the promotion of the Employment Development Department's (EDD) programs and services. The incumbent is responsible for the development and accurate production of marketing collateral materials, that conform to the EDD Brand Manual, follows established print production procedures, quality control standards and the EDD Forms and Publication Manual guidelines. Collaborates with Digital Composition Specialists on shared jobs, performs accurate file archiving and obsoleting procedures, maintains document version control and file integrity, and cleans and maintains equipment used during regular production work.This position creates excellent opportunities and is conveniently located in Natomas/Sacramento while offering free parking.You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement .Special RequirementsIt is strongly encouraged to apply through your CalCareer Account at
