Brief Description of Duties:
Incumbent sets up food service counters, steam tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold foods including meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, bread, butter and beverages. Prepares fruits and vegetables for cooking and serving by washing, peeling, scraping and dicing. Makes coffee, tea, ice water, and other beverages. Portions out food by placing uniform amount in small serving dishes. Cleans equipment in kitchen and dining area. Washes dishes, pots, pans. Coffee urns, glasses and flatware. Clears and cleans dining tables. Sweeps, mops and waxes floors. Disposed food wastes and trash. Moves heavy garbage cans, and assists in unloading supply trucks and storing heavy supplies. Performs other related duties as assigned, including operating delivery vehicles if qualified.Qualifications:
Must be able to multi-task and use good judgment. Must have the ability to concentrate on uniform individual portions and to take multiple orders upon customer’s requests. Knowledge of sanitation standards in handling and serving food.Conditions of Employment:
Must be 18 years old and able to lift up to 45 pounds. Must be able to work days, nights, weekend and holidays.How to Apply:
