Position Title: Staff AccountantReports to: CFOPosition Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with at least 2 years of accounting experience and a bachelor's degree in accounting or business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable processes, handling transactions for multiple entities and vendors, establishing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office applications, and a high level of attention to detail are essential for success in this role. This position is hybrid and reports on-site Tue, Wed, & Thur.ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable Management:

Utilize accounting software and other programs to manage accounts payable for multiple entities and vendors.Process due invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.Perform account maintenance, record entries, and reconcile books of accounts.Not-for-profit experience is preferred but not required.

Accounts Receivable Management:

Entering and maintaining customers invoicing at the Residence Facility. Tracking all payments relating to the Residence Facility invoicing.Invoicing and Tracking payments relating to annual membership dues.

Vendor Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain positive relationships with new and existing vendors.Collaborate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment-related issues promptly.Good communication skills

Financial Transactions:

Process various financial transactions, including posting journal entries and updating financial statements.Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Software Proficiency:

Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) for daily tasks.Experience using accounting software is required; knowledge of Dynamics SL (Solomon) is preferred but not required.

General Office Duties:

Organize files, manage storage, and perform other general office duties as needed.Ensure the confidentiality and security of financial records and sensitive information.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable.Experience using accounting software is essential.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).Familiarity with Dynamics SL (Solomon) is preferred but not required.High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.Ability to meet daily task deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Application Process: Interested candidates should submit their resume, cover letter, and any relevant certifications.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
