Provide solutions-oriented bookkeeping services to multiple clients at our corporate office, onsite at client locations, or in the cloud. This position works directly with clients and serves as an internal team manager. This is not a fully remote position. You must be committed to commuting to our office in Santa Barbara on a periodic basis.OVERVIEW

Manage, transact, or support the bookkeeping needs for multiple clients point-of-contact for client; serve as an internal team manager for the clientWork with a diverse group of businesses, communicating regularly with clients to ensure they have a clean set of books, positioning each of the clients for financial successBuild strong client relationships; become the go-to client bookkeeping expertUse your thorough understanding of accounting concepts and operations to perform controller-level workRESPONSIBILITIES & RESULTS

Successfully oversee or transact the daily bookkeeping tasks for multiple clientsSupport daily bookkeeping needs, working as an internal team leader for clientPerform and review daily AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, creating or adjusting journal entriesPrepare financial statements as neededTrack data for W9 retrieval and complete 1099 reporting at year-endTrack data for sales tax prep and produce sales tax returnsComplete various bookkeeping-related projects for multiple clientsMaintain integral communication with clients to review or discuss their bookkeeping activitiesAlign as a partner with client’s internal teamProfessional presentation in person and via email, phone, or virtual conferencingCommitted to working the ACCPLUS WayWHAT YOU NEED TO BRING US

Management skills, preferred – proven ability to successfully manage teamDegree in Accounting, preferredThorough understanding of and experience with accounting concepts and operations, such as: cash flow, trial balance, balance sheet, debits and credits, net income, equity, assets, liabilities, journal entriesMinimum of 7 years’ experience as a successful full-charge QuickBooks bookkeeper, skilled at working with multiple clients and various business entity typesWell versed in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop and understanding of both platforms – prefer QBO certificationExcellent tech skills – server navigation, cloud experience, skill with MS Office Suite and Excel, knowledge and skill with QuickBooks integrating appsDeveloped presentation, verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and manage multiple clients simultaneously – skilled at time management, organization, and planningPossess analytical and problem-solving skillsPLUS

Accountability Plus is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and the pay scale provided is the hourly wage range that it reasonably expects to pay for this position.
