BENEFITS AND HRIS ADMINISTRATOR

SALARY

$33.32 - $37.61 per hour

New hires may earn a salary ranging from the minimum to the midpoint of the pay scale, with education and experience taken into consideration.

The Benefits and HRIS Administrator contributes to the mission of Plymouth Housing by effectively administering the full scope of activities associated with Plymouth-sponsored employee benefit programs and exemplifying stewardship of its Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The Benefits and HRIS Administrator plays a vital role in supporting an equitable and inclusive organizational culture and fostering a positive employee experience.

Plymouth Housing is a nonprofit organization that develops and operates permanent supportive housing for single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. With apartment buildings throughout King County, Plymouth is helping the most vulnerable members of our community leave homelessness behind forever. At Plymouth, we're not simply trying to get people off the streets. We provide supportive services like case management and health care so that our residents can thrive long-term. As part of our strategic vision, we are building internal behavioral health services and transforming our systems to address rapid growth and the changing needs of residents.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING IN THIS ROLE AT PLYMOUTH HOUSING

Benefits Administration

* Administer Plymouth-sponsored benefit plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD & Life Insurance, FSA, and 403b retirement plan) in compliance with legal, tax, and provider guidelines.* Serve as the main point of contact for employee benefits questions and inquiries.* Monitor employee status changes for eligibility and benefit adjustments, ensuring accurate paycheck adjustments.* Maintain records related to benefits enrollment and changes.* Reconcile benefits billing to ensure payments comply with Plymouth and carrier requirements.* Collaborate with the Leave of Absence Specialist on leave of absences and LTD leaves for benefits coverage as needed.* Process unemployment benefits claims.* Serve as a back-up for the administration of Plymouth's Shared PTO Bank.* Assist with annual benefits surveys and data analytics.* Provide census information and administer plan changes during annual benefit evaluations and renewals.* Set up the HRIS system for Open Enrollment.* Facilitate Annual Open Enrollment Benefits training, both on-site and virtual.* Provide reports and data for benefits plan audits upon request.* Handle onboarding benefits presentations, I-9 form verification, offer letters for wage, position, and/or location adjustments, contract letters for interns and students, and status change requests processing.* Generate ADP HR data reports as requested by HR management and staff.

HRIS

* Maintain day-to-day activities of all HR Information Systems, including but not limited to ADP, HR Admin SharePoint, and HR Admin shared drive.* Process Payroll changes in ADP such as transfers, pay changes, titles, benefits, and deductions.* Validate data for new hires, rehires, status changes, pay changes, transfers, and separations using ADP HRIS.* Collaborate with the Payroll department to process terminations and leave of absences status changes.* Provide reports and data for benefits plan audits and other operations/admin requests.* Ensure data integrity through regular internal audits and analysis.* Complete annual EEO-1 and related government and funding reporting requirements.* Lead the annual records retention and archiving process.* Prepare and maintain SOPs for HRIS systems and HR standard processes, by developing, documenting, updating changes, and maintaining process workflows for efficiency and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.* Minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources with 2 years of experience in benefits administration.* Experience using and administering an HRIS.* Previous HRIS experience (ADP preferred).* Experience in non-profit is a plus.
