Audit Senior Associate

The Audit Senior will report directly to the Audit Partner in charge and thrive personally and professionally under their leadership. Throughout the year, Audit Seniors will work on a full range of services, including financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations, and consulting. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire for challenge and career advancement as partnership is just a couple years away, for the right candidate.Essential duties will include:Lead audit engagements from planning to completionCoordinated fieldwork logistics of engagement with clientReview workpapers prepared by associates and provide feedbackCommunicate regularly with clients to answer questions, obtain information, and discuss audit issuesPerform detailed testing of financial statement balances and transactionsPrepare and review financial statements and related disclosuresTrack budgets to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within client deadlinesIdentify and communicate audit findings to managementStay current on industry trends and changes in regulationsPerform research and documentation of technical issuesPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in AccountingCPA, or CPA eligibilityMinimum two years of audit experienceStrong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented and organized
