DescriptionAs the MRI Technologist, you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room.Ensure accurate processing of radiology ordersMaintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performedOperate a variety of post-processing/3D workstationsPerform accurate image archivalPrepare and administer paramagnetic contrast mediaSensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patientSalary Range:

ARRT, CRT - required. MR certificate required

ORARRT, ARMRIT (MR) - requiredVenipuncture certificate - requiredBCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - requiredGraduate from an AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - requiredAA or BS - preferredAt least 1 year of MRI experience - preferredSiemens experience - preferredAbility to adapt to advancements and changing technologiesAbility to identify contraindications for examsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and independent decision-making skillsFamiliarity with clinical billing (IDX codes)Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology
