Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Match, PTO, Education ReimbursementIf you enjoy our products, you'll really enjoy being a part of our team!Position Summary:The Project Engineer defines and delivers all projects assigned as well as provides support to the company's distribution facilities and manufacturing plants. This position ensures that assigned projects and initiatives are successfully transitioned to post-production support by the local facilities and plants.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Lead assigned projects inclusive of requesting resources based on the project's needs, managing the work activities of the resources, controlling the project schedules and financial performance, reporting project management methodologyImplement the assigned projects to the satisfaction of management and key stakeholdersCreate a project plan and a communication plan, involving management and key stakeholders as well as impacted departmentsCommunicate to management and key stakeholders the status of the project including expected outcomes and project risksMonitor the status of specific project dependencies related to the overall project incorporating such constraints into the overall planAdhere to the company's Engineering Standards and ProceduresComplete assigned work according to the timelines, accurately and effectivelyDemonstrate equipment functions and features to front-line employeesImplement change to achieve the company's business goalsExecute the company's long-term vision through participation in continuous process improvementsReinforce and create opportunities to facilitate ongoing learning with the manufacturing teams, i.e., how to run a production line including troubleshooting, maintaining and fixing, etc.Collaborate with the business on automating and streamlining processesOther projects or duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related degree with 6 plus years of project management experience or HS Diploma/GED with 9 plus years of project management experienceExperience with SAP or other ERP equivalent business processesSelf-driven and experience working independentlyStrong collaboration, relationship building, and customer service skillsExperience working cross-functionallyProcess and continuous improvement mindsetExperience with Good Manufacturing Practices in a manufacturing environmentStrong problem-solving skillsExperience working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlinesExpert proficiency in gathering business requirements, process flows, and use casesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient Microsoft Office skills i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.Ability to work off-hours support as neededAbility to travel up to 50%This position must pass a post-offer background and drug testPreferred Skills and Experience:Master's degreeExperience in the food and/or beverage industryLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experienceFood safety experienceChange management experience
