At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on!WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOInteract with guests in a natural, friendly demeanorCultivate regular guests and repeat businessSuccessfully complete a pour test prior to every shift, where applicableSuggestively sell both beverages and menu items to guests at the barDeliver food items and beverage orders promptlyPrioritize and organize drink ordersConsistently prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, abide by all control systemsRecord any equipment failure and/or safety hazards in bar logRecognize when guests are becoming too intoxicated and refuse further service of alcohol in a courteous and safety-minded manner, bringing it to the attention of a managerEnsure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance alcohol awareness training and Company alcohol policiesRequest proper identification for anyone appearing under 30 years of ageMaintain HOB safety and sanitation standardsPerform Opening/Running/Closing duties according to Company policyPrepare guest checks (on point of sales terminal) and process payment according to Company policyMaintain bartender bankPerform cash pull / check out proceduresMaintain appropriate Comp and Spill checksRequired to occasionally work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venueWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGRequired:Ability to work late hoursFlexible scheduleCash handling experienceMust be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniquesSkill in interpersonal communication and teamworkPhysically able to pass a pour test and a mixology drill (timed)Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded mannerTolerance of all cultures, music and art formsResponsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or EquivalentPreferred:4 years work experience in high volume environmentExperience recognizing valid ID’sExperience in a live music environmentPhysical Demands/Working Environment:Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feetMust be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniquesEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
