Corporate ParalegalOverview:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. As a Corporate Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our General Counsel and attorneys in various corporate legal matters. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our organization's success by providing essential legal assistance, conducting research, drafting documents, and collaborating on strategic initiatives.Responsibilities:Legal Assistance:

Partner with and provide comprehensive legal support to the General Counsel in all aspects of corporate practice.

Litigation Support:

Assist attorneys with litigation support services, including gathering and organizing documents, preparing pleadings, and maintaining case files.

Case Management:

Communicate with counsel regarding case developments to update litigation logs and maintain accurate litigation reserves data needed by other company departments.

Legal Research and Analysis:

Conduct research on regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; prepare summaries and analyses for attorneys.

Document Preparation:

Produce and manage documents related to corporate policies, contracts, resolutions, and other legal documents.

Contract Drafting and Review:

Draft and review contracts such as confidentiality agreements, vendor agreements, and employment agreements; assist in contract negotiation processes.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other members of the Legal team on special projects, initiatives, and corporate transactions.

Confidentiality Management:

Exercise discretion and maintain a high degree of confidentiality in handling sensitive information and legal matters.

Administrative Support:

Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining legal databases, scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports, and assisting in compliance efforts.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field; paralegal certification preferred.Proven experience as a corporate paralegal or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm environment.Strong knowledge of legal principles, practices, and procedures related to corporate law, litigation, and contract management.Proficiency in legal research techniques and databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines effectively.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal software applications.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.Professional development opportunities and support for continuing education.Collaborative and inclusive work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.
