Description

Under the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer, The Associate CFO is financially responsible for the Department of Neurology's Medical Group Compensation Plan, Basic Science Compensation Plan, State 19900 Funds, Opportunity Funds and various Gift Funds. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: budget preparation, budget analysis, financial management, reporting, and problem-solving. The Associate CFO is also responsible for managing the procurement office activities to ensure purchase orders are prepared, processed, and closed out in a timely manner.Salary Range: $68800 - $141000/AnnuallyQualifications

Required:Demonstrated working knowledge of fund accounting principles and standard accounting policies and practices.Working knowledge of University policies and procedures regarding financial, administrative, and personnel activities.Skill in analysis of financial data.Ability to create and develop financial reports using spreadsheet software.Presentation, oral and written skills to convey complex subject matters to diverse audiences.Ability to supervise and motivate administrative support staff, including selection, training, delegation, performance review and evaluation.Skill in working independently and completing tasks within established time frames with minimal directions, frequent interruptions, and changing priorities.Ability to attend to details and follow through on assignments without close supervision.Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers, faculty, students, and administrators.Working knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel, QDB, database and e-mail systems.Demonstrated skill in developing and managing budgets.Ability to work occasional overtime.Preferred:Familiarity with University TOF, QDB, PAC, and EDB online systems.
