THIS IS A FULLY QUALIFIED OPENINGPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:A high school diploma or the equivalent is required. The selected candidate must have successfully completed a progression program for Cable Splicers and be a Fully Qualified Splicer. In addition, the selected candidate must possess a valid motor vehicle license and be qualified to obtain or maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), and must live within 60 minutes of the reporting location for trouble call assignments.POSITION DESCRIPTION:Individuals will perform any work in connection with the installation, operation, and maintenance of the underground and aerial cable systems.Bargaining unit employees under the TEAL contract will be given first consideration.
