Sr Paralegal

Growing Law Firm in Chicago has a need for a Sr Paralegal. It is a direct hire role with a full benefits package.This is a top performing law firm in Los Angeles is in search of a Litigation Paralegal with experience in civil and/or commercial litigation to join their growing team. This role will involve providing litigation and general administrative support to various attorneys within the Litigation Practice Group.Key responsibilities include:Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and discovery materials.Organizing and maintaining files.Filing documents with local, state, and federal courts.Scheduling and summarizing depositions.Assisting with trial preparation.Reviewing attorney billing, managing revisions and calendaring of meetings and court dates.Scheduling travel.Handling general administrative duties.Qualifications for the role include:2-7 years of litigation experience.Preference for candidates holding a paralegal certificate.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required.Experience in ProLaw and NetDocs (or similar document management systems) advantageous.Strong communication skills.Commitment to customer service.Flexibility and initiative.Excellent organization, prioritization, and proofreading/editing skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
