Job scope:
? Conduct regular literature surveys of technologies for ammonia synthesis/cracking/combustion in thermocatalysis or electrocatalysis or plasma catalyst
? Work with project PI to develop experimental plans and assist in experimental design
? Conduct experiments to collect kinetic parameters
? Characterisation of catalyst properties with various physical and chemical methods.
? Coordinate with vendors on reactor modification and improvement.
? Presentation at regular project meetings and summarize results in reports
? Compile results for publications in scientific journals or patents
Job requirements:
? PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry or Applied Physics
? Knowledge in catalysis
? Hands experience on operation for fixed bed reactor.
? Experience in reactor building with automation is preferred
? Proactive, team player and good problem-solving skills
? Data analysis and interpretation skills
? Excellent oral/written communication
? Willingness to learn new skills and explore new ideas
