Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience in civil and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will be admitted to the Virginia Bar, with admission to the D.C. and Maryland Bars considered a plus.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct legal research and analysis on civil and commercial litigation matters.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Participate in all aspects of discovery, including depositions, document production, and interrogatories.Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.Assist in trial preparation and strategy.Communicate with clients and provide regular updates on case progress.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Virginia Bar; admission to the D.C. and Maryland Bars is a plus.2+ years of experience in civil and commercial litigation.Strong knowledge of state and federal civil procedure rules.Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
