Litigation Antitrust Associate Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Litigation Antitrust Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have substantive knowledge of antitrust law and strong writing skills. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct legal research and analysis on antitrust laws and regulations applicable to client matters.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents related to antitrust litigation.Assist in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions related to antitrust cases.Review and analyze documents and evidence in complex antitrust matters.Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on antitrust compliance and risk management.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client communication.Attend court proceedings and participate in negotiations with opposing counsel.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission by waiver.Minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation at a reputable law firm or government agency.Strong understanding of federal and state antitrust laws, regulations, and procedures.Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with keen attention to detail.Preferred Skills:Experience with merger review and investigations by antitrust authorities.Familiarity with economic principles relevant to antitrust analysis.Previous involvement in complex commercial litigation involving antitrust issues.The firm offers a competitive compensation package, health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and a collaborative work environment.
