The Director of Integrated Marketing position is remote; however, travel will be required to meet clients and team members spread across the country, covering coast to coast.
Job Description:
Reporting to the Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, the agency is seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Integrated Marketing to oversee and continue to elevate the team’s social media efforts across a rapidly growing client list from coast to coast. The ideal candidate will be a bold social media professional with a proven track record of leading successful social media teams, developing strategically sound, compelling, and disruptive content, and driving engagement across various platforms. This role requires a big thinker, a strong communicator adept at understanding and leveraging social media trends to create innovative and effective campaigns. Additionally, experience in managing teams as well as contributing to new business pitching is essential. The ideal blend for the Director of Integrated Marketing should be strategy, leadership, and a closer mentality.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire the strategy and social media team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Develop and execute comprehensive digital and social media strategies that align with clients’ goals and objectives, driving engagement, brand awareness, and conversions, especially proficient with FB, IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and influencer marketing.
Oversee the creation and curation of compelling, high-quality content across all social media platforms, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and visual identity.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate this knowledge into strategic planning and execution.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including creative and media/analytics, to ensure cohesive and integrated campaign execution.
Analyze and report on social media performance, using insights to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI to clients.
Be a key player in new business pitches, presenting big and breakthrough social media strategies and concepts to prospective clients, showcasing the agency's expertise and value proposition.
Foster and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and providing strategic recommendations to drive their social media success.
Ensure all key digital and social media activities comply with industry regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in digital marketing and social media management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience leading and mentoring a mixed marketing team in an agency or corporate environment.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and achieve business objectives.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics, with a keen eye for trends and innovations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in new business pitching and client relationship management.
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of content creation and curation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines with ease, from big ideas to guerrilla marketing.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
Strong preference for prior experience in retail, CPG, travel & tourism, and healthcare.
