RADIATION THERAPIST85-115K+ Bonus + Full Benefits+ Bonus+ Signing BonusGlenwood Springs, COOur Radiation Oncology Department has an opening for a Full-Time Radiation Therapist to join our Team.As a member of the radiation oncology team, administers ionizing radiation for the purpose of treating diseases.We are equipped with one Varian True Beam linear accelerator, an Elekta Flexitron HDR after loader, superficial x-ray unit, and a departmental CT simulation with 4D capabilities. The clinical scope of our practice is wide with treatments and techniques including VMAT, SRS, SBRT, DIBH, HDR brachytherapy, LDR brachytherapy, and radiopharmaceuticals.Job ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates general understanding of anatomy and physiology pathology, medical terminology, oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics, radiation oncology techniques, radiation safety and the psychosocial aspects of cancer toward the end.Education:Successful completion of a radiation therapy training program, R.T. (T) certification and maintaining certification.Experience:Experience in the area of Radiation Oncology is preferred, but not required.
