Mission Enabling Products Operating Unit is seeking a

Facilities Maintenance/EHS Manager 2

to join our team.

This position could be located in

Goleta or Oxnard, CA

but will support both locations.

The

Facilities Maintenance/EHS Manager

will assist in oversight and management of the entire facility, including clean rooms, compressors, vacuum systems, humidifiers as well as high tech manufacturing equipment.

This position will execute maintenance management budgets, assure operational readiness with equipment and tooling spare parts inventory, use lean thinking and TPM principles to organize workflow, streamline internal processes and minimize equipment downtime.

Facilities Maintenance Manager will manage groups of contractors and technicians to keep the facility up and running, drives root cause & corrective action, utilizing reliability engineering to take proactive approach and responsible for managing and maintaining accurate status of KPI's and visual management boards.

This role will also manage the EHS efforts in both facilities, ensuring all activities meet state requirements and ensuring we are regulatory compliant.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for daily operations of the Maintenance staff

Maintenance staff currently includes the manager and 3 - 4 other maintenance professionals per facility (Goleta and Oxnard)

Ensure repairs and maintenance on building infrastructure, equipment and machines in our manufacturing and office facilities

Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns and maintain compliance requirements of facilities, machinery, and equipment

Ensure facility procedures are followed

Mentor and guide team to improve efficiencies and safety of facilities.

Ensures all Tests, inspections, and repairs of machines and equipment up to date.

Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications

Duties also include truck/fleet maintenance coordination, maintenance liaison to landlords, perform office rearrangement tasks, manage recycling program

Ensure CapEx expenditures are within budget and necessary.

The selected candidate must have the ability to use hand tools, work from heights and be able to lift up to 40 pounds

Occasional non-standard work hours are required

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 9 years of related experience in Facilities Management and Environmental Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment

5 years of functional management or experience

Understanding of Lean methodologies and implementation (5S, VSM, SIPOC, RCCA, etc.)

Demonstrated experience leading cross-discipline teams, budgets, and schedules

Preferred Qualifications:

Must-be an excellent communicator with solid problem solving ability

Ability to troubleshoot problems and resolve issues in a short time frame

Strong ability to prioritize and lead multiple tasks in a high-paced environment

Strong working knowledge of building mechanical/electrical systems

Experience leading capital improvement and facilities projects

Salary Range:

$114,100 - $171,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
