As an Independent Licensed Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients in an in-person, office-based environment. This position is within our Refresh Mental Health (RMH) organization, which provides a variety of behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs. We seek a full-time and part-time Independent Licensed Therapist for our Massachusetts locations (opportunities available in Andover, Beverly, Burlington, Braintree, Danvers and Marlborough).

If you are located in Massachusetts, you will have the flexibility to work from home and in the office in this hybrid role as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders.

Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods.

Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications.

Required Qualifications:

Clear and active LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensed in Massachusetts.

Ability to be comfortable working with a wide range of clinical presentations.

Proven ability to work with patients in person and telehealth.

Ability to work remotely 1-2 days a week (if full-time) and additional days on-site.

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of clinical experience treating patients with behavioral health conditions.

Experience working with children or adolescents.

Experience with couples or family counseling.

Hospital based experience.

Experience with health psychology.

Proven solid computer and basic technology skills.

Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and other members of the care team.

Demonstrated solid grasp of technology solutions and tools and ability to adapt.

Proven evidence of working effectively and collaboratively with colleagues.

Ability to be self-motivated, ambitious, and able to quickly build rapport with clients.
