Job DescriptionOne will never get bored working with this amazing group of Spirit-filled Christians. The Assistant Treasurer will assist the Treasurer, perform the church’s bookkeeping, organize online donations and payments, acquire and auction off land, run donation campaigns by mail and email, and answer phone inquiries.
Job Duties
Monthly bookkeeping in QuickBooks and Excel.
Manage online donations via the Planning Center giving app.
Answer donor questions about giving.
Church organization via Planning Center.
Answer phone calls from land owners and realtors.
Bulk letter campaigns. (Training will be provided.)
Relevant Work Experience & Skills
Experience working in an accounting-related role.
Customer service experience.
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn new software.
Technical SkillsSoftware: QuickBooks, MS Excel, and Planning Center.
Job SpecificationsLocation:
Remote. TN, NC, and GA residencies are preferred but not required.
Work Hours:
Full-time or part-time work. 30-40 hours/week
Pay:
$20/hour. Annual performance bonus.
