Collaborating with our engineering and data science teams, you'll develop, implement, and maintain effective testing strategies, with a primary focus on data integrity and automated UI testing. This role is key in ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and exceeds our customers' expectations.RESPONSIBILITIESBe hands-on in performing Data QA and building Plans.Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to understand product changes and define applicable tests.Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, focusing particularly on data integrity and logic.Carry out functional, integration, and regression testing, with a focus on data testing.Identify, log, and track defects throughout the testing process, ensuring that all data and UI issues are effectively addressed.Use queries or other tools to validate data, verify transformation rules, and conduct back-end testing.Implement automated UI testing processes using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.Contribute to the continuous improvement of Pixalate's QA methodologies.Document QA procedures, ensuring the sharing of knowledge and best practices within the team.Other responsibilities as neededQUALIFICATIONBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.3+ years of experience in a QA role, with a particular focus on Data QA.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Proficiency in SQL or BigQuery Standard SQL for data validation and testing.Experience with automated UI testing tools.Understanding of ML models and methodologies for QA’ing training data.Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.BENEFITSMonthly internet reimbursementCasual work environmentFlexible hoursOpportunity for advancementFun annual team eventsBeing part of a high performing team that wants to win and have fun doing itExtremely competitive compensation
