Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will primarily be responsible for ensuring accurate processing, recording, and reconciliation of the Company's transactions and will also be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information to Company management and reconciling various GL accounts. The Staff Accountant will work closely with employees at all levels across the organization and proactively suggest ways to improve efficiencies and processes.

Specific Roles And Responsibilities

Performs daily and monthly transaction reconciliations to ensure that all transactions processed by or through source systems are accurately captured and imported into the general ledger.Performs other general ledger account reconciliations as assigned such as bank reconciliations, prepaids, fixed assets.Assist in processing expense reports.Supports tax compliance including registrations and accurate, timely payments.Prepares ancillary journal entries as needed.Supports month-end and year-end close process.Assist with year-end audit activities, including PBC requests.Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Ad-hoc projects as needed.Occasional domestic travel.

Qualifications

2 years accounting or related discipline experience.Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.NetSuite experience is a plus.Knowledge of US GAAP.Knowledge of financial statements, reporting, and analysis.Ability to meet deadlines.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and vendors.Possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Excellent communication skills.General curiosity and inquisitive nature.
