10026898Our client, a prestigious financial services company, is looking to add a Senior Accountant (Structured Funds) with corporate accounting experience to their team. Please only apply if you meet the below requirements.Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or AccountingAt least 3+ years of accounting experience specifically:Completing account reconciliationsProducing full set of standalone and consolidated financial statementsAdvanced Excel skills – there will be an assessmentAbility to work in a very complex environment3+ years of extensive experience:Preparing journal entries and updating workbooks for monthly, quarterly, and annual closeCompleting account reconciliations, financial statements, and other analyses to support monthly close, consolidation, and external reporting requirementsExperience with a 20-day close involving 120 entities for the entire company; individual will be responsible for a group of around 10 entitiesResponsibilities

Managing workflows and processes for multiple Structured Funds entities, including:Preparing journal entries and updating workbooks and schedules for period-end close for several tax equity funds and subsidiaries within the development businessProducing full set of standalone and consolidated financial statements for several fundsProducing ad-hoc reports as requested by Asset Management and Development teamsBooking cash transactions related to acquisition, financing, and operations of funds and projectsAssisting in accounting and reporting research for complex transactionsCompleting account reconciliations, financial statements, and other analyses to support monthly close, consolidation, and external reporting requirementsReconciling project budgets to actual spend in collaboration with Asset Management and Development teamsInnovating to create process efficiencies and optimize system useAssisting with development, refinement, implementation, and documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsSupporting the team in accounting research, writing technical memos, and documenting policies and procedures
