Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Construction Inspector
to join our team! In this role you will get to
inspect and report on water distribution and roadway rehabilitation projects.What You'll Be Doing:Daily inspection of large water resource (pump station and/or canal and embankment stabilization) projects.Act on behalf of the Owner to inspect the work of the contractors completing the construction of the facility and/or project.Planning work for testing, inspecting, monitoring and reporting contractors’ work full-time on site.Maintain complete and accurate records of all activities and events related to the Project.Document damage to property or personal injury accidents on site.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or construction-related field, or a high school diploma and equivalent work experience, is required.Also requires typically 3+ years of related experience on field projects.In addition, may require formal certification from an independent organization, depending on type of inspection assignment.Needs to have a valid driver's license and have transportation available for work.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Proficient with MS Office Suite, E-Builder and Proliance.Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.Foreign language skills (Spanish) a plus.
