Develop curriculum to meet the needs of the class through the creation of assessments of various typesServe as advisor for a group of 8-10 students that meet dailyMeet weekly with their grade-level team in a collaborative effort to provide well for their studentsMeet regularly with their department to ensure streamlined curricula, expectations, and best-practice pedagogyPerforms general teaching tasks such as tracking attendance, assigning homework, grading assignments, giving feedback, and communicating effectively with students at all skill levelsMaintains regularly scheduled office hours and other faculty responsibilitiesPOSITION REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in education or related field required, Master's degree preferredExperience in teaching middle schoolExperience with current software, current hardware, and computer applicationsDemonstrates a passion for and expertise in the teachingEagerness to research and learn new technologies and bring them into the classroomStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail
