Job Purpose and Function
Develop and recommend comprehensive user experience (UX) strategiesAnalyze the user experience by evaluating the applications end-to-end, seeking out opportunities for improved experiencesAssist in the design and development process by collaborating with clients, business analysts, front-end and development team membersInfluence team members and business partners by explaining the impact of designing/developing with the end user in mindAssist in defining user experience goals and research initiativesAnalyze and document project requirements and business goals, applying them to design solutionsAnalyze and recommend the right Design Thinking methodology based on the product, channel, audience, and the application requirements or workflowCreate and apply various user experience models such as journey maps, swim lane diagrams, empathy maps, use case scenarios, personas, etc. to guide the teamCreate wire frames and prototypes based off requirements that meet business and user objectivesWork with business partners and market researchers, designers, and program managers to solve complex UX design problems and deliver resultsAct as subject matter expert for user insights and user experience best practicesRecommend user experience improvement opportunitiesInfluence UX visual and interaction designs and ensure they remain engaging to the customerAct as stakeholder in user readiness development plans, aligning self-help and training with user experience goalsAssist with managing multiple projects under tight deadlines across a broad variety of product categories and audiencesProactively draw out user experience or design issues and successfully address those issues to ensure projects stay on track to meet interim project milestones, project time/scope/quality/funding expectationsPerform as a project team member, owning UX deliverables throughout Development Life cycle for multiple projects within various phasesEnsure that the IT deliverables meet design expectationsRemain abreast of emerging technologies, and industry best practices and trends
