We are recruiting for a per diem (benefit ineligible) IP Speech Language Pathologist to join our skilled pediatric team of professionals in Marlton, NJ!

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is an integral member of the rehab team. The SLP administers appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for the rehabilitation of children aged birth to 21. The SLP is responsible for adherence to the scope and standards of practice as defined by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. The SLP uses creativity, professional judgment, and problem solving techniques to achieve quality outcomes and provide the highest quality of patient centered care. The SLP participates in patient and family teaching and works collaboratively with other disciplines. The SLP plays an integral role in facilitating functional performance through oral motor therapy techniques, sensory feedback, interactive talk and play activities, and emotional-cognitive development.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

MA/MS in Speech Language Pathology

NJ licensure in Speech/Language Pathology

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology; or Clinical Fellow applicant

CPR/ BLS certification

Minimum 2 years previous pediatric experience (medical or educational settings preferred)

Specialized training/experience in evaluation/treatment of pediatric dysphagia required

Strong organizational / time management skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work well as a team member

If treating a patient that is physically located outside of New Jersey, the treating therapist must comply by the rules in accordance with the state licensing board in the state where the patient is physically located
