(20 hours per week)

Speech Language Pathologist to join our skilled team in inpatient Marlton, NJ.

We specialize in delivering individualized, family-centered care. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for:

The Speech Therapist is an integral member of the Interdisciplinary Team.

Administers appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for the rehabilitation of children aged birth to 21.

Responsible for adherence to the scope and standards of practice as defined by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.

Uses creativity, professional judgment, and problem solving techniques to achieve quality outcomes.

Participates in patient and family teaching and works collaboratively with other disciplines.

Plays an integral role in facilitating functional performance through oral motor therapy techniques, sensory feedback, interactive talk and play activities, and emotional-cognitive development.

Weekends Required

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

MA/MS in Speech Language Pathology

NJ licensure in Speech/Language Pathology

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology; or Clinical Fellow applicant

CPR/ BLS certification

Minimum 1 year previous pediatric experience (medical or educational settings preferred)

Specialized training/experience in evaluation/treatment of pediatric dysphagia

Strong organizational / time management skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work well as a team member

If treating a patient that is physically located outside of New Jersey, the treating therapist must comply by the rules in accordance with the state licensing board in the state where the patient is physically located
